One of the most enigmatic and creative project though detached and isolated from local industrial community, CYCLOFILLYDEA from Saint-Petersburg was formed in 1999 under the directorship of Anton Viselsky. This is one very few experimental/ post-industrial acts focused completely on the creating “music evoked by stage and screen”. Within its past ten years of existence, the ensemble has performed scores of full stage productions and recorded several soundtracks, but they have never (!) produced a musical album for the outdoor audience. The current lineup features: Anton Viselsky (also with the project SIC SIT VOBIS), Andrei Petrov (GDEVA, GOOD INFECTION), Lev Feldman, Sergei Fedorov and Denis Viselsky.
All tracks were recorded and mixed by Anton Viselsky at ALDSZN rec. except of tracks X, XI which were recorded by Eduard Fedorov and mixed by Andrei Petrov & Anton Viselsky at NEPA studio in 2008. All music by CYCLOFILLYDEA, except of tracks X, XI which are the interpretations of a traditional English lullaby.
Inspired by the Jean-Pierre Jeunet & Marc Caro movie "Le bunker de la derniere rafale" (1981), this album is an official debut by CYCLOFILLYDEA. Featured are: Anton Viselsky (electronics, music), Denis Viselsky (music), Andrei Petrov (guitar), Yulia Ruurman (vocal on tracks X, XI) and Vera Dorn (vocal on track VIII).
