BUNNIES BUNNIES were formed in Northampton MA somewhere in 2005 when Jeremy Dubs and his best friend Jack Science - their first band were called THE BENNIES - moved up to Massachusetts from Pennsylvania with serious thoughts about making their band better. In 2008, BUNNIES recorded their debut album with Mission Of Burma's Roger Miller as producer, called "Music For Dinosaurs By Dinosaurs". It was followed by two more self-released vinyl albums: "Devoted To The Process Of Action" in 2013, and "Transportation To Mind Transformation" in 2018. Currently featuring Jeremy Dubs (vocals, guitar), Jack Science (vocals, synths, keys), Matthew Newman (drums), Justin Bard (guitar), and Rebecca Macomber (bass), BUNNIES are a tight unit creating adventurous and eclectic Experimental Rock with influences from a broad spectrum of Psychedelia, Avant-Prog, sci-fi Space, Kraut, and Weirdo Cinematic music. Bunnies / Transportation To Mind Transformation and Devoted To The Process Of Action (2018) "Transportation To Mind Transformation and Devoted To The Process Of Action" is the two-in-one CD-album featuring BUNNIES' recent album (April 2018) combined with the band's previous EP-album (December 2013). Both recordings appear in their entirety and original form, so there are 4 extended pieces on CD clocking in at over 64 minutes (in particular, 17-minute "Link Think" is presented here as a single epic-track instead of 5 shorter tracks on the initial digital version). All music and lyrics were written and produced by BUNNIES. "Transportation To Mind Transformation" (tracks 1-2) was performed by the line-up of Jeremy Dubs, Jack Science, Matthew Newman, Justin Bard, and Adam Bosse, while "Devoted To The Process Of Action" (tracks 3-4) was performed and recorded live in one take by the trio of Jeremy Dubs, Jack Science, and Matthew Newman, with special appearance by Holdyn Newman-Long. The CD layout was assembled by ZonderZond on the basis of the original LPs artworks: the graphic for "Transportation To Mind Transformation" is by Gregery Miller; and for "Devoted To The Process Of Action" by the band-members. The CD gatefold includes lyrics for both albums as it was provided by BUNNIES.

"Transportation To Mind Transformation" and "Devoted To The Process Of Action" work together as a single set surprisingly well. Both albums showcase a distinct band's sound as well as increasingly sophisticated approach to the composition and arrangement that is beyond any particular subgenre cliches. This set is not everyone's cup of tea. But whatever rock-subgenre you admire - whether surrealistic and futuristic space-kraut-psyche or rock-in-opposition progressive avant-garde - if you value the inventiveness, expressiveness, imagery and challenge of modern rock-music, you shouldn't ignore the World of Bunnies.
