ENFANT Formed in La Paz, Bolivia in 2008, initially as a collaborative project of local multi-instrumentalists, song-writers, and composers Jose Carlos Auza (aka Horuset, Dante Dominguez, Nicolas Uxusiri), Christian Aillon Valverde, and Bernardo Paz, ENFANT is now a 7-piece experimental rock-group, actively performing and recording. Their debut album was self-produced and officially released in digital form in 2012 via community label El Otro Baile. The band's sophomore studio album "Ellipsism" was released digitally in 2015. The current line-up of ENFANT features: Jose Auza (vocal, guitar, keyboards, bass, drums, percussion, electronics), Bernardo Paz (guitar), Christian Aillon (guitar, vocals), Luis Aranda (vocals, percussion), Alvaro Lenz (keyboards, synths), Diego Ponce (bass), and Enrique Poppe (drums). Enfant / Ellipsism (2015/2017) "ellipsism - sadness that you'll never be able to know how history will turn out, that you'll dutifully pass on the joke of being alive without ever learning the punchline - the name of the beneficiary of all human struggle, the sum of the final payout of every investment ever made in the future - which may not suit your sense of humor anyway and will probably involve how many people it takes to change a lightbulb" (from "The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows" by John Koenig). Composed by Auza-Paz-Aillon and musically directed by Paz-Auza, "Ellipsism" is the second album by ENFANT. Twelve musicians from Bolivia and Argentina were invited to perform in the project. Their individual musical parts were recorded separately at various studios, and then send to Jose Auza for editing, mixing, and mastering. CD: $13.00 / Digital Download: $8.00

"Ellipsism" is a conceptual piece of work and, as you might guess, it is dedicated to studying of undescribed human emotions. Judging from the facts that all tracks on the album have female names as titles, while the songs are male-created, the album idea somehow deals with undescribed emotional differences between Men and Women. To know this for sure, you'll have to listen to the album carefully and dig into the lyrics, which is all in Spanish and delivered by two leading vocalists (Jose Auza and Luis Aranda). "Ellipsism" offers diverse, skillfully composed and arranged, thoroughly expressive and dramatic Modern-Prog or Experimental-Prog music within rich lyrical context.
